Rick and his wife, Julie, have been married for over thirty years. They have two married sons, 2 granddaughters and 3 grandsons.

Served: local churches in GA, NC, VA, & MO; the North American Mission Board; The Missouri Baptist Convention; and The Georgia Baptist Mission Board.
Taught: Adjunct Professor, Missouri Baptist University in St. Louis, MO. Presented for many conferences and seminars for business, government and church leaders.

Dr. Phil Roberts
Theologian in Residence,
Mission Engagement
Dr. R. Philip Roberts, respected theologian, educator, and former president of Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, will be joining our team as of October 1, 2025. He will serve our churches in the areas of evangelism, mission, and apologetics.
Dr. Roberts brings decades of ministry and leadership experience to this role. He has served as President of Midwestern Seminary (2001–2012), Vice President of the North American Mission Board with responsibilities for urban strategy and interfaith evangelism, and as a professor of missions and evangelism at both Southern and Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminaries. His ministry has also included pastoral and teaching roles in Europe and board service for international theological institutions.

Dr. Roberts earned a Ph.D. from the Free University of Amsterdam, an M.Div. from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, and a B.A. from Georgetown College. He is the author of several books, including Mormonism Unmasked, and has produced media addressing key issues in interfaith dialogue and Christian mission.

Dr. Roberts continues to invest in equipping pastors, missionaries, and Christian leaders around the world. He presently serves as an international liaison with ICNET and hosts a weekly 90 min broadcast to the Farsi speaking world. His service with our network will reflect his lifelong commitment to advancing the gospel and strengthening the church.

Roles: Pastor's wife; Church Planting team; Children's ministry coordinator; Women's ministry director. Served on Community Bible Study leadership.
Served: 30+ years in local churches in GA, NC, VA, & MO; appointed by the North American Mission Board. Served the Missouri Baptist Convention in church planting assessment and support. Has spoken for women's conferences and marriage conferences.

Bobbie Kight

Personal:
Bobbie has been married to her husband David for 53 years. They have one daughter, four grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren with more on the way. Bobbie is a founding member of Cornerstone Community Church here in Woodstock.
Education:
Bobbie is a graduate of South Cobb High in Cobb County. She attended Kennesaw State University and New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary.
Ministry:
Bobbie has served alongside her husband in ministry for forty years focusing in the areas of children, ladies and music. She currently serves as children’s director and director of ladies ministry at Cornerstone.
Hobbies:
Bobbie spends her free time with her family helping to raise all the "Grands" and "Great grands". She also enjoys crocheting and music.
